Pool liner replacement and repair

Faded, wrinkled or leaking liner: we repair it when we can and replace it when we have to.

The service

The liner is what keeps your pool watertight

Inground pool with a new liner being filled, in front of a large stone house, technician on the paving

The liner holds the water and protects your pool's structure. Over the years, sun, water chemistry and our winters wear it down: the vinyl fades, stiffens, then wrinkles or leaks.

We start with an honest assessment: a puncture gets patched, a liner at the end of its life gets replaced. When we replace one, we also check the floor and walls.

Who it's for

  • Your liner is showing its age

Faded colour, stiff vinyl, wrinkles that keep coming back: is it time to replace it?

  • Your pool is losing water

The level drops faster than evaporation explains, or there's a visible tear.

  • New homeowners

A clear picture of the liner before the season, without an unnecessary replacement.

What the service includes

  1. Assessment of the liner, track and walls
  2. Repair of punctures and small tears
  3. Measuring the pool and choosing the pattern with you
  4. Controlled draining and removal of the old liner
  5. Preparation of the floor and walls
  6. Installation, cutting the openings and fitting the gaskets
  7. Refilling and restarting the filtration

Before you drain your pool

Never drain a vinyl-lined pool without professional advice: the vinyl can shrink and tear, and groundwater can push up the floor of an empty inground pool. When we replace a liner, draining is part of our job.

How a replacement works

Request a quote
  1. Assessment

We inspect the liner, track, floor and walls, and tell you frankly whether a repair will do.

  2. Measurements and choice

We measure the pool and help you choose the pattern. An inground pool liner is made to measure.

  3. Draining and installation

After controlled draining, the floor and walls are prepared, then the new liner is set in place.

  4. Refilling and start-up

The openings are cut and sealed as the water rises. Then we restart the filtration.

“Excellent company. They replaced my inground pool liner and the work was A1!”

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my liner needs replacing?

Faded, stiff vinyl, permanent wrinkles, a liner pulling out of the track, repeated punctures or ongoing water loss. One sign alone doesn't condemn the liner; several at once usually does.

Can a liner be repaired?

Yes. A puncture or small tear can be patched, sometimes without draining the pool.

Why has my liner faded or wrinkled?

The sun fades vinyl over the years, and poorly balanced water speeds things up. Regular water care extends its life.

Do you replace above-ground pool liners too?

Yes, we work on inground and above-ground pools alike.

When is the right time to change a liner?

Before or after swimming season. If your liner shows end-of-life signs at closing time, let us know early so we can plan the work.
