Pool heaters: sales, installation and repair
We help you choose the type of unit that suits your pool, install it and handle its electrical repairs.
The service
A longer season, without heating for nothing

In the Ottawa–Gatineau region, an unheated pool warms up late in spring and cools down as soon as the nights turn cool. The right heater lets you swim earlier in the season and later into the fall.
The right unit depends on your pool, the electrical or gas supply available, how much sun your yard gets and how you use the pool. We start from those facts, not from a model to sell.

What the service includes
- Advice on the types of units (heat pump, electric, gas, solar) for your situation
- Sizing based on water volume, exposure and use
- Sale of the selected unit
- Installation and connection to the filtration system
- Start-up, temperature setting and flow check
- Electrical diagnosis and repair: power supply, controls, sensors

Before you heat, keep the heat
A pool loses much of its heat through the surface, especially at night. A solar cover put on in the evening cuts those losses: your heater works less.

Frequently asked questions
Heat pump or gas heater: which should I choose?
A heat pump generally costs less to run, but it heats slowly and loses output as the air cools. Gas heats quickly whatever the weather, but every hour of heating costs more. To keep the water warm all summer, a heat pump is often the logical choice.
Does a heat pump still work in spring and fall?
Yes, but it has to run longer when nights are cool. The right capacity and a solar cover make a real difference.
Is solar heating enough in our climate?
In a sunny yard, it can be enough in midsummer, with no energy cost. In spring, in fall or in cloudy weather, it works better as a complement.
My pool heater won't start. What should I check before calling?
Make sure the filtration pump is running, since most pool heaters won't start without enough flow, then check the breaker and the temperature setting. If the breaker trips again, don't keep trying: call us.
Do I need to change my electrical setup?
Possibly: a heat pump often needs a dedicated circuit. We check what's in place and list any work needed in the quote.
